Trekking El Mauco

FAMILY HIKING CERRO EL MAUCO, CONCON VALPARAISO 
Tour begins at your hotel and we head along the coast towards the Aconcagua River, 40 minutes from Valparaíso, and enter the foot of this 800-meter-high hill to the top, from where we will have views of the Pacific Ocean, Valparaíso Bay, Ritoque dunes, Cerro la Campana, Cerro el Roble, and Mount Aconcagua, 6,756 meters above sea level.

Hiking trails

The trail is very vegetated and suitable for family hiking levels.

From the Summit

To the west you can see the Ritoque dune field and in the distance the cities of Valparaíso and Quintero.
Program
  • Transfer from Hotel 8:00 AM to Cerro el Mauco round trip
  • 3 hours up and 2 hours down
  • Difficulty Level Easy. Safety First aid kit, VHF – UHF communication radios
  • Walking ration, entrance ticket, energy drink, mineral water, fruit, cereals
  • Trekking poles, gloves, photo set sent by WSAP
  • Tips: Light clothing and a change of shirt, shoes or sneakers suitable for hiking. Book the tour one day in advance
  • Backpack, water bottle, camera, glasses, sunscreen and cap
