Approximately 50 km from Santiago, our first stop is San José de Maipo, where we can explore and photograph this picturesque mountain town, whose historic center has been declared a National Monument.
We then continue to Embalse El Yeso, located at approximately 2,568 meters above sea level, surrounded by spectacular Andean scenery, waterfalls, mountain peaks and turquoise waters.
From there, we travel approximately 23 km farther along an off-road mountain route into the Valle del Yeso area, reaching the natural El Plomo Hot Springs.
From the hot springs, guests may optionally take an approximately 50-minute hike to the beautiful Los Patos Lagoon, following mountain trails through the Andes at around 3,000 meters above sea level.
This private 4×4 experience is subject to snow, road and mountain conditions and must be confirmed before booking. It is generally available from October to April, depending on conditions.
