The adventure begins at your hotel to head to the Andes mountain range in the Cajón del Maipo sector where we will have breakfast and visit viewpoints and a waterfall. Then we entered the El Morado National Park in Lo Valdés to begin the trekking after a technical and safety talk to reach the San Francisco Glacier and Laguna el Morales at 2,600 meters above sea level.

Tips
  • Wear comfortable layered clothing, a warm jacket and suitable hiking shoes.
  • Bring a small backpack, water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat.
  • Pack an extra T-shirt, socks and a change of clothing.
  • Carry your camera to capture the spectacular Andean landscapes.
  • Book at least 72 hours in advance to coordinate access permissions and review weather conditions.
